Inquisitor Brewing Company approached us to develop a complete brand identity that captured their unique story: a modern craft brewery with deep roots in 17th-century monastic brewing traditions. They wanted a distinctive, premium look that blended historical authenticity with an intriguing, mysterious edge — specifically playing on the Illuminati mythos and the “secret knowledge” of crafting exceptional beer.
Our Approach
We created a rich, narrative-driven brand centered around an old-world woodblock (block cut) aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from 17th-century monastic manuscripts and secret society iconography, we designed a bold mark featuring a hooded monk within an Illuminati-inspired geometric framework. The visual language combines intricate line work, aged textures, deep monastic tones, and symbolic elements that hint at hidden brewing wisdom.
